Space Within a Space

Our territory is located between Kanakadea and the Public Safety center, combining the open field, the tunnels and the small creek. We decided to recreate the territory by adding water, stones, trees, and including cardboard depict the tunnel. We also filmed a underwater video in order to capture the tangible element of water for our instillation. In addition we wanted to translate the state of mind we’re objectified with, within our territory, by visual representations such as the video and creation of our surroundings. Not only do we want to correlate trees as pillars of life, but we want to show how our system connects to the entire campus through earth and location. This instillation is a beautiful depiction of our territory by representing intangible attributes for which we aspired to portray.
